Har Ki Dun Trek a Perfect Gateway of Heaven

HAR KI DUN Trek is a perfect gateway of Heaven as well Valley of Gods. Har Ki Dun is Located in the heart of Govind Ballabh Pant National Park in Uttarakhand state Uttarkashi District. Har Ki Dun Valley offers you spectacular views of untouched valleys in the Himalayas. It is one of the most beautiful trekking destination that showcase the natural beauty of Himalayas.

I went to Har Ki Dun Trek in winter season in November 2018 & I experience of this particular trek is awesome & unforgettable. During trek I felt that I am living in a heaven; walk on path, seen running river, tall trees & fresh air & some of the most isolated villages in India.

Deharadun to Sankari - ( Drive 200 KM )

Har Ki Dun Trek Start from the Base camp at Sankari. The Sankari Village is Located at Uttarkashi District, which is 200 KM from Deharadun, Uttarakhand.

Sankari to Taluka – ( Drive 12 KM)

Taluka is 12 Kms Motor/Car able connected from Sankari. The rout goes through a dense forest of chinars, chestnut & walnut.

Taluka to Seema/ Osla Village –

Trekking rout from Taluka to Seema/ Osla Village stay on on right side of Supin River.

Seema/ Osla Village to Har Ki Dun – ( Trek 12 KM)

Trekking rout from Seema/ Osla Village, U need to crossing giant bridge over Supin river will surprise you, cross it & climb a steep route until you reach a small bridge over a stream. After reaching KalkatiDhar there will be a change in scenery & tall snow covered peak becomes visible. Har Ki Dun is situated at the foot of Hata Peak. When you reach Har Ki Dun, the beauty of Valley will make you never want to leave the place. At Har Ki Dun, you can see the vasr grounds below the Swargrohini Peak. Here we end our Trek & returned to Sankari with Same rout.
